Crazy Things You Do For Foolish Heart

1. You disappear. You fly to another continent with the man you love and reject all the calls of your friends who are looking for you.
2. When he wants to meet up with you at his place, you teleport in a flash via taxi without hesitation. You forget what the words Savings and Budget mean.
3. You watch midnight movies, even though you know the movie ends at 3am and you have to wake up for work at 7am, and spend for a cab fare that costs a pair of cheap shoes because actually, only the alarm clock manages to wake up at 7am and not you.
4. When he wants to walk along Baywalk, you find your classiness strolling amidst all the kajologan, and when you look at him, you still blush with sparkles in your eyes.
5. You defend him from all the things people say about him. You fight for him. You fight for the man who may not even fight for you.
6. When you have reached poverty level, you still go out of your way to see him at the bar, to listen to him sing with his band. You go home at past midnight and swipe that card for all the midnight surcharges.
7. You find out from a friend that he was at the mall shopping with a girl and hold the bomb that is about to explode in your heart from the MRT to your house, and burst out the fountain after closing the main door. You flood your pillows with echoes of an outburst that lasts for days, only to find out weeks after that the girl was his sister. And you smile.
8. When he says he'll meet you at 10pm, you wake up from your power nap. Clarification - A power nap for you lasts until the next morning. Only a power nap before meeting him, actually, matches with freedictionary.com's definition. From the west end of the island, you soar to Somerset to witness the silliest dancing moves you've ever seen. You laugh the night away.
9. You spend all your annual income just to be with him. You travel with him amidst all the objections and revolts of your rallying friends. You reserve the best hotels, book the best restaurants, and choose the best tours hoping he would be appreciate all of them.
10. When he shares with you his whereabouts and whereabouts to be, while you jot down all your appointments in your calendar, you memorize his schedule by heart. You can even be his personal assistant for free.

So WAS it all worth it? Actually, YES. He is gone. They are gone.

When you look back, you know how crazy you have been. But will you exchange all those experiences for anything else? No. You just laugh at yourself.
What would you have been doing if you weren't doing all those things? Maybe something that would have also made you happy - but less happy. Because on those times you were crazily doing things for the person you loved, you were at your happiest. Happiest. The biggest and most genuine smiles. And amidst all the pain, you have no regrets. Mushy as it may seem, but love is amazing. Everything was beautiful afterall.

Love can do wanders and wonders.
