Hi Lance,

We went to the beach last week.. Do you remember?

It was 1.. 2.. 3..

You, Daddy, and Mommy!



It was our first family vacation.. And it was in a place called Krabi in Thailand..

You were so happy!

Everyone at the resort adored you.. And you were so friendly :)

Though you missed a lot of sleep.. You never cried.. Not even once.. 

You were always so patient and we are so proud of you :)

It was your first time to touch and feel sand.. And you did a good job! 

You did not attempt to eat it :)

And the waves.. Do you remember the waves?

You liked them!

You were kicking and squealing every time they came..

You are a water baby!

Well sweetheart.. There is one thing you should know..

It was actually Daddy's 35th birthday.. 

And all he wanted was to spend it with you..

When we got to the resort.. You were already tired..

He wanted to eat his cake..

But he waited until the next day so that he could blow his candles with you..

He also took you to the beach for your naps.. 

But every time he sat down on a hammock.. You would wake up..

He walked and walked for hours.. Carrying you.. Just so you could sleep..

He will do anything for you..

Our little sunshine..

We hope we could always make you so happy :)

Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort, Thailand

I read a lot.. really a lot of reviews before I book an accommodation, and I was very happy to find this resort in Phuket, Thailand. 

So hoping I could save you guys some time in researching, here's Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort.

It is on Bangtao Beach, and a 20-minute drive from Patong Beach and Phuket International Airport.

Where we hung out at night, listened to live music, and gazed at the moon and stars.

An executive club lounge you can access if you book the club rooms.

This is not my kind of beach, but for most of the beach resorts in Phuket, you have to take the day tours to Phi Phi Islands, Similan Islands, Krabi Islands, etc, to find the beautiful beaches.

A beachside / poolside restaurant where they have the "beach barbecue night" every Sunday.

That dinner was really delicious! Do NOT miss it! :)

Again, do NOT miss the beach barbecue night!

And my favourite part, Candy, the baby elephant!

She goes to the platform near Metzo's Bistro every 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning, and to the swimming pool area every 3:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon.

She was kissing me.. blowing air on my neck, and making "mwah" sounds. 

And I was just so tickled! :)

Where else can you do this?! ;)
