2. Air Force Museum

See fighter jets up close.

3. ArtScience Museum

Specifically the Future World exhibit.

Because it is interactive and meant for kids.

4. Bedok Reservoir Park

Aside from the usuals of a nice reservoir park..

The Forest Adventure obstacle course is also there..

For children 5 years old and above.

5. Berlayer Creek and Bukit Chermin Boardwalk

A Mangrove trail good for spotting birds, lizards, and squirrels..

That continues to a boardwalk with fantastic views of the Keppel Harbour and Sentosa Island.

Just behind the Labrador Park MRT Station.

6. Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

Big, well landscaped, and full of happenings..

With a bunch of children's play areas and nice restaurants.

7. Bollywood Veggies

A lovely farm at the Kranji Countryside.

Their Poison Ivy Bistro is good for a homely lunch.

8. Brunches Cafe

Old barrels and vintage cars turned into seats..

Retro chic feel.

9. Buds By Shangri-La

A great playground both indoors and outdoors..

Though a bit pricey.

10. Bukit Batok Nature Park

Stunning views of the quarry.. especially on a sunny day.

11. Bukit Batok Town Park

Different from the "nature" park above, this one is close to Bukit Gombak MRT Station.

Known as Little Guilin by the locals because it looks similar to that of Guilin in China.

12. Central Fire Station

Open House is only every Saturday from 9am to 11am.

You can watch airplanes fly or butterflies..

So pretty, peaceful and serene..

15. Civil Defence Heritage Gallery

Turning valves. Listening to old telephones. Spraying water on fire.

He enjoyed riding the old fire truck so much, he wouldn't leave.

16. Cool De Sac

Tree house, Hanging bridge, Building blocks..

Dress up corner, Performance stage, Arts station..

A good variety of creative play.

He was too young to manoeuvre the machines properly but still enjoyed it..

Always our favourite for cycling, sand play, watching airplanes, and fresh air.

19. EatPlayLove Cafe

Expectation: Lance doing arts and crafts.

Reality: Lance playing with his transformers car.

20. Esplanade

Lots to do here..

"Watching boats, fireworks. Watching bands singing ABC."

Free performances.. but they don't really sing ABC.

21. Fish @ Bugis+ 

They call it longkang fishing.. With a net and a tank.

The pond looks small but it was challenging to catch fish.

He slipped in the water, but still had fun.

Another place he wouldn't leave.

22. Fort Canning Park

We come here often for his sports class.

"Kicking ball. Running. Running."

23. Fort Siloso Skywalk and Siloso Beach

Spectacular views at the Skywalk that leads to Fort Siloso..

But we couldn't go further because he saw the beach..

And we just had to go and play with sand.

The Skywalk is free.

24. Gallop Stable

"Me feed horses carrots."

"Me calling bunnies. Me feed bunnies pechay."

The horse ride is for 3 years old and above.

Don't miss the Garden Rhapsody show at the Supertree Grove every 7:45pm and 8:45pm. 

It is free, and we love it.

26. Happy Park

A gem of a water playground we found at Waterway Point..

Just above the Punggol MRT Station.

27. Haw Par Villa

This Asian cultural park is the last of its kind in the world.

Weird stuff.. But interesting.

He enjoyed it because there were many animal sculptures.

And live fish, turtles and squirrels.

28. Hay Dairies

Goat farm. Fresh goat's milk.

We missed the milking session from 9:00am to 10:30am..

But feeding with alfalfa hay is anytime.

29. HortPark

Makes us really want to have a garden of our own!

The official residence and office of the President of Singapore..

The Istana Grounds is open to public only 5 days a year during:

Chinese New Year, Labour Day, Hari Raya Puasa, National Day, and Deepavali.

32. Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

A farm, a forest, a pond, a garden maze, a treehouse..

Rope bridges, slides, water, sand..

To me, this is the BEST outdoor play area.

And it is free.

34. Jurong Frog Farm

I am not into frogs.

But Lance and his cousins were so happy feeding and catching the frogs and tadpoles.

And that's all that matters.

35. Kaboodle

We come here for his class - to read, sing, dance, and paint..

Then "free play" after.. which looks so simple.. yet the kids love.

Educational and so much fun.

To me, this is the BEST indoor playground.

Amazing place for pretend play, and we will definitely be back when he's old enough.

If your child is below 4 years old, don't waste your money on the toddler area (like we did).

Another great water playground..

At the roof deck of NEX Shopping Mall.

Chinook helicopters and fighter jets on National Day..

Cargo ships, a sand playground and a wooden maze..

Make it an awesome place for a little boy.

40. Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum

Do you know that Singapore has real dinosaur fossils on exhibit?

Of 3 dinosaurs discovered in Wyoming, United States.
